country fresh…

a favorite charm…’country fresh’

I’m excited to pick apples tomorrow and make cider with the family.

Is it possible that this might be the beginning of a family tradition?…hoping so!

Are the elderberries ready up your way?

    • sounds fun! – yes…I’ve been picking elderberries, cleaning them and storing them in the freezer until I make the juice all at once. I found one dynamite bush that gave me gallons and gallons and gallons….I think if I go back with a taller ladder I can get some more…then I’ll be done for this year! 🙂 This is my first year for elderberries and I’ve been a little obsessed but I have decided one thing…they aren’t for the faint of heart {they are so much work}.
