slippin’ out…

…for a bit of fun!

It’s fun to just get away and do something different…especially when you get to share it with a good friend.

Diane and I have been friends for about 15 years.  We meet 6 mornings a week at 5:30 and walk 4 miles together.  Because of our busy lives, most weeks, that is the only time we see each other.

She loves country music and Brad Paisley is one of her favorites so last night we went to the BP concert together.  It was fun to eat good food, laugh and enjoy good music together…celebrating friendship all the while…

  1. Sounds like a very special friendship Elaine… and Brad Paisley, ooooh, you lucky girls!! He’s wonderful, one of mine and my oldest sister’s favorites singers!

  2. Elaine nurturing friendships is so important – especially in this day and age where everything is so “convenient”, etc. Thanks for sharing and reminding all of us to treasure our friends and time spent together!

Okay so I felt sure you would post a pictures of a pair of boots I’ve been hearing about! 😦

  3. My husband’s company is located across the street from the Arena…they had a hard time concentrating on work all day on Thursday with all the sound checks and set up going on for the concert. Hope you had a great time!
