Tree Down
We had some pretty impressive wind-gusts go through here last night.
There were at least two that make me wince/cringe/cower/quiver/tremble…you get the idea.
Our house is surround by trees…big trees.
Our house is constructed with trees…big trees.
As it was creaking I would look up at the open-beam construction and I just knew that it wouldn’t fail me if one of those big, beautiful trees decided to come down on top of it.
We did have one go down in the yard but luckily it couldn’t have landed in a better place.
Whew!

Yes – I do believe it will be firewood. We burn several chord of wood each winter.
