dreamin’ right along…
#28 & #29 – 1″ Life Sampler
I loved riding my bicycle when I was young (unfortunately, it didn’t have a cute basket on the front for fresh bread and roses, nor did it have one on the back for fresh flowers).
I remember that first ‘ride’ without my training wheels. I was at my grandparents (the C’s). With an ever-so-slight downhill grade at the head of their driveway, I was able to take off. Oh my!…I had dreamed of it for so long and when it finally came, what freedom it gave.
I really think that I’ve always been a dreamer. Honestly, I generally don’t even ever mind when I don’t see my dreams come to fruition…but, PLEASE just let me DREAM .
I have had dreams when the downhill grade seemed so steep it frightened me and others that were an uphill battle.
Each dream that comes to a realization (possibly through blood, sweat and tears) brings such joy.
It used to stress Mr T out GREATLY when I would dream {out loud}. I know that it was partly because he could always see the $ signs that were attached to my dreams…but, I think that he also struggled with the fact that he really does enjoy giving me the things that I want. He seems to have finally learned that just because I talk about a dream doesn’t mean that I’ll be too disappointed if I don’t see it happen.
Guess what? Now he even dreams my dreams right along with me. 🙂
