Tinker Verve

creating with spirit & enthusiasm…often with great results

2nd & 3rd blocks…

I finished the 2nd (I’m so glad that looks like a diaper pin) and 3rd  blocks of my 1″ Life Sampler.  They represent my ‘birth‘ year and the year I was one.  Add that to the year I was 10 (a teacup) and didn’t like tea or anything pretty and…there you go…

  1. It is so much fun to see how your squares match your theme. They are wonderful! What stitches did you use for your candle? I am planning a square with some candles and I love how yours looks.

  5. So cute…I’m so tempted to join in. But, I must resist and enjoy yours for the time. Maybe another year. Keep us posted on your progress. And, it WILL be an heirloom… like a little snapshot of your life. Someday, your grandkids will LOVE it!
