Vinyl Collage Tote
Here is a fun tote created with canvas and magazine clippings ~ then topped with clear vinyl.
I’ve made a few of these one-of-a-kind creations before. •one♥two♥three•
A conversation regarding them came up @ a local quilt ship last week and the owner asked me if I would consider teaching a class.
When I read vinyl I thought ick but it is soooo cute! You are amazing!
Elaine, that’s totally cool! Maybe you should consider a tutorial, too. I’m intrigued…
That’s a great idea, Judy – but, tutorials scare me…I’ve never done one! 😉 >
Oh, that’s just cute! I love the vibrant colors!
which quilt shop? 🙂
It’s a little quilt shop that is north of Colville – called Wumpkins >
This is the coolest bag yet. So creative. I really like the fabrics you used on the handles. I would love to take your class but it’s too far away. I bet you girls will have a blast sewing and visiting. Fun!
I absolutely love what you did. Yes, a tutorial is a must!! Oh pleasssse!
I hate begging, don’t you!
Elaine….you continue to amaze me! It is like you have wells of creativity within you that just continue to bubble over with fresh, imaginative, original ideas ….how do you do that? I think it is how the Lord fashioned you in His image…wow. Your projects are always an inspiration…much love, Lin
Ah Lin, thank you for your kind words…hoping all is well w/you and yours! >
I love this Elaine! so sorry I have not been able to get onto your (or any typepad!) blogs for two weeks! I am not sure why (and I even joined typepad to try and work it out) but yay, here I am – and loving all your wonderful posts as always! – this is soooo cute, I love the colors and the way you put everything together
Hugs to you my friend xxoo
These bags are wonderful. Thanks for stopping by always warming my heart!! You are a sweetheart Elaine!!
