Did I Say That????

…that it is more blessed to give than receive (actually, the rumor is that Jesus first said it)…Well, today I was sure blessed. I received my gift from the gift swap. Amber had me and boy did she ever have fun.

She decorated some clothespins for me. Gave me a sweet bar of soap and some tissues (which I really needed by the time I was done with this), a beautiful vintage hankie with a green tatted edge, a very cool napkin holder (which happens to match some great goblets that I bought this week…also pictured).

A fun, personal, sweet, cute and quirky story just for me. I might be the only person who could ever truly appreciate this story. It made me laugh and it made me cry and I can’t wait to read it again and again.

I also received a very fun and again very personal collage. It was hard to get a good picture because of the glare off of the glass but this is my best one.

It has so many fun words in it that are full of so much meaning, especially when those words have been lived out with such a close friend, a best friend (I’m not sure where gewgaws fits in there). I think my favorite words are on the house and they say, “finally home”. Thank you, thank you Amber for your sweet and ever-so-thoughtful gift. It means lots and lots. LoveYa!
