Farmin’ {reclaiming barn board}
Do you ever dream about rummaging through an old farmstead?
Well, I do and the older the better.
Last week I got the go-ahead to have free reign with {what’s left of} this old farm.
Diane and I are mainly interested in the boards off of the barn that was taken down last year.
But it’s so much fun to just poke around and try to identify so much old, old treasures junk.
We weren’t alone. There were many eyes making sure that we didn’t get into too much trouble.
We made sure that we kept on eye on this one. He was docile enough though that we named in Ferdinand.
*Diane makes beautiful tables from reclaimed barn wood and sells them. This post shows a bit of one…wish I had a better picture.

That looks like so much fun. Who knows what treasure/junk you might uncover. That has to be one of many perks because of living out in the country. Love the pictures.
What a treat…to junk and dream along with you. To hunt through a farm like that is definitely one of my dreams, also. The table is beautiful! Your naming the bull Ferdinand gave Larelle and I a big laugh! Thanks, Julie
